I think it would a greater risk to drive in say New York City as opposed to Faucett, MO (population of about 100), so it stands to reason that greater metro areas would have greater accident risk thus impact the cost. On the other hand, Wichita, KS would have a greater threat of cat. losses, specifically hail.
