Yes. This happened to me. I thought I was having a lighter, longer period which lasted a whole week. I didn't find out until my period was due the following month that I was pregnant. i would say if it was implantation bleeding? i had egg trransfer (ivf) and 6 days later im positive i had implant bleeding it was not my normal period just spotting for two days then just stopped, nothing that mth, next period same, then following mth, normal, i can't really tell you whats going on, all i know i was concvinced i was pregnant, and i wasnt, dr told me was just different period, why, who knows.
