ok i was on suboxone for awhile ,the day before i took an 8 mig,now i was real sick one day.so i took 2 oxycodone 30 migs, with in maybe 5 ten mins, i was SOOOO SICK IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!! no joke, n ive been really sick for yrs from opiate lets say think of ur worse withdrawl u went threw....now seriously its 10 times ur worst! ill NEVER EVER forget that for the resyt of my life n i did it one other time to my self just wait till the next day cause its not gunna give u the full effect n would b waisting the morphine just b patient TRUST ME I KNOM THAT HARD.lol. its not even funny but its TRUE! just wait hun its sooo worth it. i wouldnt put that experience on my worst enemy!

∙ 10y agoIt all depends on the person due to tolerance. Suboxone induction should begin when the person is "coming down" from opiates. Basically right before withdrawal symptoms begin. So, depending upon the person's level of tolerance it could be hours or days.

If you are taking it for pain, then yes, it should still work as a painkiller, even though it won't get you high.
