A ryukin can grow pretty large in body size. Because of their shape, they tend to grow tallish, and fat. It's not uncommon for them to get to a 10 inch in length including tail fins, but their girth can grow quite massive.

∙ 14y agoGiven reasonable conditions to live in they will grow to around 10 or 12 inches long. Goldfish are classed as a reasonably large fish and 1 fish should have at least a 10 gallon tank, a permanently running cyclerde filter and nereds at least 50% of its water replaced every week.
