Well it can only live about one day with no food.It may affect its groth or time line.So i suggest you by a lifs time supply of food and remember its a fish not a dog.It will die in a matter of hours after not feeding them and feeding them to much.Its like a human.Feed it 5 flakes in the morning.3in the afternoon.and 2 in the eavning.and the time line is only about 1 year.
