This varies by state. In northern U.S. states, in the cooler months, you have to always have heat. In Massachusetts, September 15 to June 15. It doesn't matter whether you have children or not.

How long after you leave a house can the landlord sew you?

Well, I don't see how anyone can be sewn: I guess it can happen if the right string is used for sewing. Are you talking about SUING? Can a Landlord SUE you after you leave the house? Well, the landlord cannot sue for eviction if you're already gone. If you have damaged the property the landlord can sue for damages, and normally within two years, but this varies by state. Check with the Clerk of Courts or Prothonotary.

What happens if your landlord's house is foreclosed?

As long as your landlord has control of the property he still has the right to collect rent: whether the house is foreclosed is between your Landlord and his mortgage lender. If the property is taken over by the mortgage lender they may ask you to leave. There may be some form of protection available for you, the Tenant, before you are forced to leave. Get legal assistance as soon as you learn about the foreclosure so that you can be prepared for what's next. You may or may not be required to leave soon.

Is Radiant Heating more safer then centeral heating?

Radiant heating is safest when you're in the room. Never leave the room for a long period of time with a space heater on. About 25,000 fires per year are the result of using a space heater. Radiant heating is definitely not safer than central heating.

How long does a court order last for eviction?

In an eviction process, the landlord has to proceed step-by-step. Normally on a writ of ejectment, the tenant has 24 hours to leave. If the tenant does not leave then the landlord has to call the Sheriff's office or Constable of that location to force the tenant out. The landlord has 24 hours from the time the order is written to do this, or the order will no longer be in effect (SC, FL). Of course these rules vary from state to state.

What can you do when landlord house is repossed what can happen to us tenants?

The repossession of a house, called a foreclosure, is a matter between the property owner (the Landlord) and his Mortgage Lender. The tenant is not involved. As long as the Landlord still has control of the property he is still the one to make the rent payments to, and can still evict you if you don't. When the Bank takes over they will give you proper instructions, according to state laws, on whether to and when to leave, or how to pay your rent.
