it can live more than 50 years.
You should get some sucker fish and they will eat it instead of the fantails (but beware they are really hard to catch if you have a new tank that what you first put them in)
They live up to their late 80's
If they make it through the newborn stage, and if they are healthy and there nitrate and pH and water temperatures are all good it will probally live to about five to ten years, there have been cases of fantails living up to 15 to 20 years
Color does not play a role in how long a goldfish will live for; gentics and how well it is taken care of do. Fantail goldfish can live to be anywhere between the age of 10-25 years old.
They live up to be one million years old
fish can live up too there late 80's. They can even last up too a 100 years!
Well fish such as goldfish go in cold water and fish such as angel fish (tropical) go in warm water. Try not to mix them up as one fish may not live. If you would like to get goldfish don't mix them with fantail fish with 2 split tails as the goldfish will attack. So keep fantails with their own kind. Hope I helped.
A Plectrums fish can live up to 55 years. In order for the fish to live that long you will have to take care of it right.
