they can't
Sure. You can put a goldfish in anything that can hold liquid. But the best thing to do is to put it in a tank with a pump so it gets oxygen. I don't recommend leaving a goldfish in a cup for a long period of time.
Goldfish can live a very long time provided that you take proper care of them. One goldfish needs a 20 gallon aquarium with a filter on it's own, and then it's another 10 gallons for every additional goldfish you want to add (so 3 goldfish means at minimum a 40 gallon aquarium).Along with regular weekly maintenance that includes changing at least 50% of the water, goldfish can live for a very long time.
Yes, as long as your tank is big enough for 3 goldfish. It should be at least 35 to 40 gallons in size even when your goldfish are babies.
Regardless of the type or size of goldfish the minimum acceptable size of an aquarium for a goldfish is 30 gallons. Buy a tank that is at least 30 gallons if you plan to have goldfish. You can comfortably fit 3 goldfish in a tank this size but no goldfish in a tank any smaller. Goldfish are essentially pond fish and need lots of space to swim; they will not thrive in a small aquarium.
For househeld goldfish, they generally live 6-8 years
Do you mean how long will they live together? As long as the fish doesnโt eat the snails, they can coexist peacefully.
it can live for 23 years
Goldfish can live over 20 years or so if they are propely housed and looked after.
Goldfish can live for a very long time. 41 years is the current record.
