I think you mean skin? I can tell you how long it took my dead to skin a beaver. About 20 minutes or less. then it is placed on the skinning board. All the fat is removed and it is stretched as the fat is being removed. The nails have to be removed as it is being skinned and stretched further until it reaches the ages of the board, if the pelt is large enough. It is left on the board until it dries.
