At the beginning of 2016 Queen Victoria reigned for 63 years and 7 months and a few days and Queen Elizabeth II has reigned for 60 years so in 3 years (2015), 7 months (January 2016) and a few days she will have reigned as long as Victoria
Queen Elizabeth II acceded to the throne in February 1952.
September 9 2015 to equal Victoria's reign, September 10 to surpass it.
because she rules the country in a sensible way and people compliment on it and people are also surprised at how long she has been on the throne! such a long reign that she is the second longest serving monarch
She isn't dead yet so it's not past tense yet.
Queen Elizabeth became queen long before Shakespeare was a glint in his father's eye. He was born in the sixth year of her reign.
You are confused. Mary I of Scotland (Mary Queen of Scots) was the daughter of Elizabeth's cousin. Elizabeth's half-sister was Mary I of England (Bloody Mary). She obviously did not kill her as Elizabeth had a long and fruitful reign after Mary's death.
Victoria's reign as Queen of the United Kingdom began in 1837 and ended in 1901.
Elizabeth began her reign in 1558 ruling about 50% of Ireland. By the time of her death in 1603 the English conquest of the whole island had been completed. Her rule of the entire island was relatively brief but she ruled most of it for all of her reign
