Why did the multitude want to touch the Lord Jesus Christ?
Some may have believed as indeed did the woman with the issue of blood that they would be healed just by touching His garment. This woman though, is the only recorded person to be so healed by Jesus, and He was very kind to Her. Others may just have wanted to do so out of curiosity, or a desire to 'touch a Holy man' in case some of His virtue would rub off on them. Certainly of itself no such idea was taught by Jesus as being beneficial, as believing in Jesus in truth indeed was, and also being obedient to Him.
