Some hedgehogs can hybernate for up to 2 years and when they awaken they perform a ritual where they find a small rat/mole and proceed to spread the blood in a circle around their nesting area then they will call upon the Lord their saviour and transport to heaven.
I agree with all lukem.c is saying exept the part where he tells us the hedgehogs hibernate for 2 years. It is infact 8 years, sorry for any confusion

∙ 10y agoThe echidna does not hibernate. It may enter a period of torpor during the winter months, especially in the south of Australia, but this is not hibernation.
