∙ 14y agoDon't leave a dog crated for longer than he is months old, up to 8 hours for over-night (for adults only) or 4 hours at a time during the day. For example, a three month old puppy should not be left in the crate for more than three hours without a chance to toilet and exercise. If a dog or pup must be left unsupervised for longer than that and it is not ready to be left free in the house, create a dog-safe area in your home to leave him, such as an exercise pen or laundry room. Make sure the safe area is easy to clean and dog-proofed so they can't get into trouble.

∙ 14y agoCages/crates should only be used as a sleeping place for dogs or for when the dog will be left alone for lengthy periods of time by its owner. There is no point to having a dog if it will be kept caged.

∙ 11y agooh no dogs should never be in a cage 24 7 at least at night or if ur dog is rapid with rabies or its just a very mean dog its better to put it on a chain and work with to make it obey and act better around other people
