St. Paul University of the Philippines is accredited. It offers ovary cyst operation
It is probably just a period symptom, but if it gets very painful, you need to go and speak to a doctor or go to hospital because it could be a cyst or ectopic pregnancy, if there is a chance you could be pregnant
Go to the doctor ASAP; you might need to have the cyst removed.
You could have a cyst on your ovaries and the damage of the ovary can be permanent resulting in removal.
my daughter is 30 have ovariam cyct 1cm she is in hospital 1week with constant pain does this cyst need to be operated. last year they took ovary and tub from a cyst that was the size of a grape fruit.
No, not usually. The cyst will disappear via shrinking or rupture when the placenta takes over. The only exception is if the rupture causes torsion (twisting) of your ovary, and then there may be a need for medical intervention to save the ovary.
I am 15 weeks pregnant and my doctor and I just discussed treatment options for my 8 cm asymptomatic ovarian cyst. She said if it twists or ruptures while I am pregnant she will need to do surgery to remove it and that it will likely involve removal of the entire ovary. If done during the second trimester, it will most likely be able to be done as a laproscopic surgery. After the second trimester if it begins to cause pain, it will be open abdomen surgery and again will likely mean the entire ovary has to go. I would definitely talk to your obstetrician about your individual situation though, especially if your cyst is causing pain or discomfort.
I have never heard of a "swift" in your ovary, but perhaps they said "cyst". A cyst in your ovary can be normal. They can be created as you ovulate, or release a egg before your period. Cyst usually don't need much treatment unless they are very large or causing pain, but may be a sign of polycystic ovarian syndrome. PCOS is where you have lots of little cysts on you ovaries because you don't ovulate regularly, and is often related to obesity, insulin resistance and hirsutism (male pattern hair growth on a woman like the chin or chest).
You need to go to the doctor or hospital very soon, particularly if this is not normal for you. It could be a cyst or appendicitis or an ectopic pregnancy, if there is a chance that you are pregnant
Usaully they determine that you need ovarian surgery when something is wong with your ovary and it is a serios problem and they diagnose the problem by running certain lab tests and screenings. I am only 11 but i do know what i am talking about i just had an ovarian cyst removed it was 7 cm in diameter.
One ovary means eggs are still produced so there is a chance for pregnancy.
The cyst enables many organisms to survive in the environment for long periods of time without need for food or water
