Rats usually carry there babies for twenty-one days, sometimes twenty-three. If they deliver at ten days, most likely all the babies will die :( And after the babies are born, that doesn't guarantee them all living. By the way, the mom will eats the babies that are born dead or sick. Oops I forgot, take a head count of all the babies everyday, if she has a runt she might abandon it so keep an eye on the runts!
