When treatment is begun early - right after a sty is first noticed - it will usually clear up in a couple of days. Take a natural approach to dealing with them rather than trying to use chemical products that could very well make them worse. Sties are usually treated with plain hot compresses, although you could also use a boric acid solution.

Depends how long you leave it untreated.

If you get some cream or something straight away, it should clear up in a couple of days, but if you leave it a few days or weeks it could take up to 4weeks to heal, get it treated as soon as possible!

It depends if you take action to the stye as soon as you get it. If you do it will go in under a week however if you don't it could been there for some while as it takes time to go on it's own.

A stye should go away in a few days. These will heal on their own and no medical attention is necessary unless it is interrupting your vision.

What is a stye how is it caused and how can you heal it?

A stye is a "pimple" on the skin surrounding the eye, particularly the eyelid. It is an infection, but I have found that drinking lots of water can help you get rid of a stye easily. Another way: If you put a teabag (wet with hot water) on the stye, it completely helps the swelling of the stye. Check out the 'Related Links' below for more information.
