How long do you have a stye for?
Asked in Eyes, Black Death (Plagues)
What is a stye how is it caused and how can you heal it?
A stye is a "pimple" on the skin surrounding the eye, particularly the eyelid. It is an infection, but I have found that drinking lots of water can help you get rid of a stye easily. Another way: If you put a teabag (wet with hot water) on the stye, it completely helps the swelling of the stye. Check out the 'Related Links' below for more information.

How do you know if a stye is gone?

Can you have a stye in your eye that only starts hurting after it has been there for 6 months?
Can you go blind for popping a stye yourself?
No, you can`t go blind. If you accidently jab your eye with the needle it is possible to go blind, but not if you pop the stye. You shouldn`t pop a stye with a needle anyway - it does no good for it. You should have eye drops/and eye wash. Or have it for a long time and let it heal by itself (this should take 3 weeks to 2 years - but with correct treatment it should only take about a week). =]

How do you stop a stye?
There are many ways to stop stye eye, but the most common way is to heat up a clean rag or cloth and put it one the stye. But i also found that if your laptop heats up, then you can turn it over and use the heat from the bottom and put it on the stye. Thats what I did, and it works really well. Keep a warm rag on it, 10-15 mins per day.
