I actually read that you dream when you sleep but may not always remember it. When you actually remember a dream you arent in a deep enough sleep. The reasons why people have dejavu is because they dreamed about it but didnt remember it.
With that being said you sleep 1/3 of your life away. So you will dream 1/3 of your life. So the average person would dream about 25-30 years worth.
