If shrimp is not cooked, it will be a grey color. If uncooked, cook until shrimp turns pink, plus one minute. If shrimp is pre-cooked, cook until it has been heated through.

Next to no time, its a matter of two or three minutes, depending on size. Basically, you put the shrimp in the butter or oil in the saute pan, and as soon as it starts to curl up and turn pink, flip it over and do the other side. Then pull it out of the saute pan as quickly as possible, because the shrimp will continue to cook as it rests. If you've overcooked the shrimp, it can become tough and rubbery.

Shellfish are an easy thing to cook. It only takes a few minutes to cook shellfish. Shrimp will be done as soon as they turn pink or red. Do not overcook shrimp or they will become tough.

You can put shrimp in a single layer in a pan and bake it for 10 to 12 minutes at 425 degrees. You might want to add butter, a bit of garlic, and some lemon juice to add flavor.

They are done when they float to the surface, that is if you are deep frying them.

How do you take care of tetra fry?

The best thing you can do to take care of tetra young is to feed them with liquid fry food, or you can take a cooked egg yolk, wrap a cloth around it, and swish it in the water (do not overdo this, it fouls the water). When they are large enough, move them onto powdered flake and brine shrimp nauplii. When the fry are larger than their parent's mouths (about 1/8 of an inch), move them into the main aquarium.
