You cannot join French army if you are not French
The French military is a professional one and only a handful of regiments accept foreign nationals. Obtaining a French visa (as a student, tourist, or worker) is completely unrelated to the French army. The best way to know how that works is to visit the 'ambassade de France' website in your country.
