There is no health problem swimming in a pool with salt added right away, or even while your adding it. It may be uncomfortable, you may feel the salt on your skin, and it may sting you eyes, but it's just like swimming in the ocean. There is nothing hazardous about salt in water, you'd feel safe to drink water with salt added to it right?
