Because the ink from a tattoo is still in your bloodstream for up to a year after it is completed.
That would be a good question for your doctor to answer, you sould also bring it up with your tattooer just to be let them know and to be safe.
You'll probably be okay. As long as you are keeping it treated with a proper ointment and don't get a nasty scrape (floor burn or such). Personally, I'd wait. The tattoo probably costs too much to risk it.
uhh i wouldn't give a child a tattoo at 28 weeks when thy grow up they might not ecen want a tattoo you should wait for them to get older and decide for themselves
Usually, if it's something I am able to draw, I will draw the tattoo idea on myself and leave it there for a few days at a time to get used to it and see if I like it. If I do decide I like it after that, I wait at least 6 months up to a year. If it still seems like a great tattoo idea, I will go ahead and get it done at that point.
Henna tattoos often last for 3 weeks. It can be removed sooner by scratching it off or washing it off with a plant-based oil. It's advised not to wash it off with water, as this won't wash off but instead will smear it open over the whole skin.
It doesn't matter. just wash your hand really good before and don't hold them for too long. after you are done holding them, set them back by their mom so they know everything is ok.
Yes it can, but there is a secret to using any antibiotic ointment: Dont use very much of it... In fact if you can see it on the new tattoo you probably are using too much...Antibiotic companies want you to use lots of it so they can sell you more...Dont do it...The new tattoo needs the air as much as anything to heal, so make sure you use as little as possible. Wash the new tattoo in anti-bacterial soap, just with your fingers, no wash cloth, and always wash your hands before you wash or apply ointment. Do not let the ointment cake up over it. Wash the old off before you put the new on... Hope this helps..B
No! you should not. You can infect the artist as well as reinfect yourself (e.g If your in remission while taking medications.) Remember, "You are getting a tattoo" it is small ,but it is still an open wound. B smart and do everyone a favor. wait utill your free and clear of this type infection. read up on the long term effects of this type of bug and how long it takes to clear your blood stream.
When I exercise I usually wait up to an hour
Tattoos do not effect the breast milk as the ink doesnt travel through the bloodstream, however i would not risk getting a tattoo while you are breastfeeding as other aspects of the tattoo could potentially harm a baby such as infections which can be picked up from a new tattoo which can travel through the bloodstream and be passed into the milk. Therefore i would wait until you have finished breastfeeding before getting a Tattoo.
