I am speaking from very recent experience that after you bleach or dye your hair (i did both),you can! you should first put anti heat therapy gel or spray on before hand but you should blow dry then straighten. your dyed hair should have no frizz or puffs!
You will receive dire warnings about hair falling out or going green, but this depends on your hair type. I have known friends who have done everything and naything to their hair very quickly with no ill-effects, and others who have tried straightening it and then had it fall out or go brittle. So maybe test straightening on a small area before going the whole hog.
You can flat iron it as soon as it is dry.
some people cant flat iron it at all cause it will pull out the perm but others can as soon as the next day.
Buy a flat iron/hair straightener from the hair care section at your local Wal-Mart, Target, etc. Bring it home and plug it in. Wait for it to heat up (for newer straighteners, this takes about 15-30secs.) Divided your hair into separate layers and straighten 1 area at a time. Put the straightener about an inch away from your scalp with the hair area between it, and press down, like closing a pair of scissors, and slide the heated areas down the length of your hair. Repeat with the other areas of your hair.
You do not need to wait 8 hours for your hair to be wavy unless you have it in a braid. Overnight or about 8 hours is good because you want the pattern to set. Any less time your hair may not turn out as wavy. If you don't want to wait 8 hours, you can buy a crimper which is like a flat iron but with wavy pannels which can create a wavy hair style.
Wait
You should wait at least a month to dye your hair after surgery.
till your hair is dry
as long as it takes
Basically, to make your hair long is to wait for it to grow. If you have curly hair, you can straiten it to make it longer. :D
You do this because then your hair will actually be curly. If you take the rollers out when your hair is still wet then the hair my just fall flat again.
You can go ahead for the same. You need not wait.
Hello, I have been liking that style for a long time. Okay what you can do is iron the top not to hot but iron it so it can be flat. Then something flat and heavy like a big book or maybe a rice bag. Then what you do is wait for around an hour for it will become straight and stay billed. If you take it out early for what ever you put it under then it would become round again. =]
you will have to wait for 1 week after the the hair color.
