Wow, good question. I would have to say about 5 minutes, but I have never baked just one potato at a time.
The whole procedure is this:
Using a fork, puncture the potato at least once on all sides and both ends. Wrap in a paper towel and bake on high in the microwave. I usually do 4-6 at a time and space them around the turntable beside each other so none are in the middle and set the timer for 15-18 minutes. They all come out perfect and are begging for drawn butter or sour cream.
Place the clean potato on a plate and microwave on full power for 6 - 7 minutes. Check the potato to see if it is soft, either squeeze it or poke a sharp knife to test.
If it still feels raw, then microwave for another minute or two, let the potato stand for about 5 minutes after cooking, then enjoy it with your favourite topping.
About 4 minutes or until soft to the squeeze. Multiple potatoes take longer.
Approx. 10 minutes.

If baking in a conventional oven, the time is not changed whether cooking 1 or 12 potatoes - about 45 minutes at 400 degrees. Test for doneness by piercing with a fork, as smaller potatoes will be done more quickly. If baking in a microwave, you do need to add more time for additional potatoes. The timing will also be effected by the size of the potatoes, as well as the type of microwave itself. 12 large potatoes would fill up a standard microwave. I would begin with 20 minutes, testing the potatoes for doneness every minute after that.
Russet potatoes are best for creating baked potatoes
40000 min.
if you wrap the baked potatoes in paper bag and put in a metal cooler if would stay warm for about 5 to 7 hours
you cant cook it with butter on it
Depending on the size of the sweet potato, you would bake 35 to 45 minutes. Check for doneness and bake longer if needed. Larger potatoes require longer to get done.
Potatoes go hard in the microwave when they are overcooked. Reduce the cooking time or lower the power setting of the microwave.

cakes should be baked in a stove
Baked potatoes generally are not crispy. Potatoes are crisped by pan frying or deep fat frying. However, whole potatoes baked in their skins can have somewhat crisper skin by rubbing the skin with olive oil and plenty of salt before baking.
