Keep in mind that the metabolisation of subs also depends on frequency of use, be it habitual, sparsley or barely ever at all. The more frequently you take it, the longer it tends to build up in your system (i.e. if you never take subs and do 4mg, it will likely stay in your system anywhere from twelve to twenty-four hours).Also, the effects of the subs tend to taper off the more time its in your system.

∙ 14y agoIf you want it to work you will have to wait at least 3 days to let the suboxone cycle out of your system. Suboxone is a very effective binder to the mu opiate receptor, its effective half life is 36 hours. So it would take 72 hours to leave your body entirely. Vicodin comes in small doses, to be effective within that 72 hours you would need a very large dose.

∙ 12y agoSuboxone has an approx half life of 36hrs. So in 36 hrs or so,you'll have 2 mg left in your system. Then in another 36 hrs, 1 mg, another 36 hrs .5 mg and so on.

I can answer this question from personal experience. I'm a struggling recovering opiate addict and am now prescribed to Suboxone. I'm prescribed 4mg in the morning and 4mg in the early evening, so 8mg a day. I know that if I wait for 24 hours after taking my last dose of Suboxone I can feel about 60%-70% of the oxy. If I continue to do them, the amount that I am able to feel it goes up. After the third day of being off my Suboxone I can finally feel the oxy 100%.

Absolutely nothing at all would happen the the buprenorphine will block the tiny amount of hydrocodone and you would feel nothing. Even if you took a hand full the same day as you took suboxone, it would block the hydrocodone.

Honestly there's hardly any IF AT ALL of a difference...that's if ur meaning as far as detoxing. If u meant the shape or size of the pill then a "big looking stop sign" is 8mg, so it's sectioned off into 4 pieces if u need it to be. Half of the 8mg,which is obviously 4mg, will look like half of a stop sign & break it again & it'll be 2mg. Now they have the little suboxones, which are 2mg each. Hope that helps!

Yes of course you can but it is not reccomended. I keep my suboxone dose at 4mg and when i do bars i never do more than 2-3mg and have had no problems at all
