Bearded dragons tend to not shed all their skin at once. Usually, they are always in some state of shedding.
yes it is totally normal this happens wen ur bearded dragon is shedding so it can shed around its eyes
It's not really a matter of age, its mostly about size and how fast they grow.
Like every other reptile, a little at a time. They shed regularly. a good site is: http://www.dachiu.com/care/charts.html when they are young they shed every 1-2 weeks, i think when they are older they shed monthly
Are you using newspaper containing a blue dye? Dye is the only reason why a bearded dragon would turn blue. Now, they may turn darker just before a shed...but not blue.
no
no they don't!
Adult Beardies usually shed once a month. Beardies are constantly growing and unlike humans their skin doesn't grow with them so they need to shed it like a snake. It takes them awhile to shed as their skin comes off in patches unlike a snake that sheds all in one.
Yes they do and it happens, but it shouldn't. It is due to the humidity in your enclosure not being high enough. If the dragon doesn't have enough moisture in the tank during a shed, they will not shed their skin properly and it will rip their skin. You need to bathe your dragon often during this time to also help the shed. You will need to monitor these blood spots and ensure they heal over. If these blood spots get bigger or don't heal, you will definitely need to see a vet.
Yes they do ! They periodically shed their entire skin.
Define 'fast' - A fast shed shouldn't be a problem. I'd be more concerned if there was old skin still stuck to the lil-one's body. Drop me a note via my message board if you need any more help or advice.
A beardies skin does not grow like a humans. Instead they shed it much like a snake does. Instead of shedding all at once though a beardie will shed sections of their bodies at a time. For example in my beardies last time she shed her tail, back legs and back then waited for a week and shed her front legs and head.
You can use a stapler to attach felt to your shed roof, but it may not last as long.
