From there depending on factors such as, humidity in the air, access to water, rough edge rock or wood to rub against , it can take 1 day or more. More if the things listed above are missing from enclosure. Providing right habitat furniture and regulating heat and air moisture will help you snake live longer, shed quicker and easier and can improve the visual effect of the enclosure.

My baby corn snake is taking ages to shed, the vet said if it went on for more that a week- WEEK AND a half to put him in a box of damp moss. But he has reduced his shed cycle to 5 days now so that's normal
