All injections are uncomfortable, there is no getting around the fact that you will feel it and it might sting. But as intramuscular (IM) shots go, flu shots don't hurt very much, especially if given correctly. There is also a new intradermal (ID) injection for flu that has a 90% smaller needle than IM. See below for more info about ID flu vaccine.
Shots can vary in how much you feel them depending on who gives them. The needle should go in fast, and the vaccine should go in slowly, and then you will have less discomfort. How much a shot hurts also depends on how much you expect it to hurt, so try to relax your muscles, take deep breaths and think happy thoughts.

The key is to not look, do not tense up because then it will hurt worse.

Mine didn't this year at all.
The worst one ever hurt for about 5 seconds and sort of ached for a couple days, but not enough to bother me unless my jerk Friend poked me in that spot.
Typically, no. If you received the IM injection (flu shot/jab) in the muscle of the hip, you might have localized tenderness in the muscle tissue, but not in the bones.
The duration of flu shot side effects varies from person to another.

No. All patients should have healed by now.
While a flu shot will not be effective against any active flu symptoms it will protect against the other flu strains contain in the shot. Flu symptoms such as high fevers, upper respiratory problems should be controlled but the flu virus in a shot is a 'dead' non-active virus and should not affect or cause any current virus.
the flu shot was as painful as a bee sting.
It really doesn't matter as long as you have the shot.
So you don't get the flu.
Yes, you can still get the flu shot. The flu shot should not be gotten if you are currently ill, but if you are on antibiotics, it is OK to get.
You have to wait until your better then you get the flu shot
