The time is takes for a package to clear customs varies from one day to one month. The way a package is shipped has a lot to do with how long it will take to clear.
2-4 days on average. If there are no customs delays.
i also have a package that has been in customs since january 13,2012 and have tried to find out how long it takes. i have even tried calling customs but cannot get a person just recordings.
From where and what type of package? From Canada to La Paz of documents of no commercial value, over night to 5 days depending on customs delays etc.
The average time is about three weeks, but it can take up to six weeks if the package gets caught up in Customs or if you ship around the holidays. I ship to Australia, so this is firsthand.
Could be anything from a few days to months. It depends on a lot of factors. Shipping speed, how long it takes for the person to get it shipped, and customs. Customs can often make packages take a lot longer to get shipped than they should.
From US East Coast to Sydney - 6-8 days plus customs.
it can take about 4 to 6 weeks usually...unless it gets stuck at customs or is lost...hope this helps cheers
It takes around 2 days, maybe more depending on weather or not the package gets a tax declaration
EMS does not promise the time. Uganda EMS does not have a contract with China EMS. Here are two times EMS can't estimate: customs clearance time and the delivery time of the local post. Usually, China customs to Uganda customs needs 3-4 days.
Anywhere from 24 hours to 4 weeks.
If your family sent the package themselves as opposed to having it shipped to you from where they bought it it should be OK, as long as they label it as a gift.
