The process for naturally bleaching your hair is to apply lemon juice or hydrogen peroxide to your hair while it is still damp. Then expose it to as much sunlight as possible. (wear sunscreen) The more times you apply it and the more you are out in the sun, the lighter it will get. You can see a noticable lightening in a couple days.

The effect is permanent, just as it is if you lighten your hair with commercial hair products. The lemon juice, UV-radiation and oxygen in the air causes the oxidation to happen faster in hair, it also happens naturally (as you can often see from natural long hair that the ends are often much lighter than the roots) and doesn't fade away. Ask your stylist about dyeing your hair darker if you don't like the lightening effect.

Its depends what shade of blonde your hair is before you use the lemon juice but the average length is probably 1-2 months.

At least two weeks, and it would still damage your hair badly. I'd decide whether bleaching or perming is more important to you and just do that one.

Does being in the sun damage highlighted hair?

no it doesnt it helps get better highlights as long as you dont put in lemon juice or something like that git will not damage your hair Edit: Are you kidding me? The sun is VERY damaging to the hair, just like it is to the skin, even if it isn't already damaged by bleaching. The sun rays contain UVA and UVB rays that will dry out and damage your hair in no time.

Does lemon juice dye your hair or help expose the sunlight to your hair?

Lemon lightens the hair, it depends how long you stay in the sun. If you stay in the sun really long for about 2-4 hours or so, it wont dye it , but lighten it, it depends on how light you want it, and how dark your hair is . :)

Is it bad to put peroxide in your hair?

It can damage your hair, but it depends on how long you leave it in your hair or how much you do. Lemon juice is much safer.
