I got my lip piercing done by my cousin that isn't a "pro". It doesn't hurt as long as you have someone holding your hand or you have a destraction like i did. It also just matters on how well you can take pain.

∙ 12y agoDiscoloration usually goes away within 2 weeks. If you're talking about the tenderness, that varies. It depends on if you hit it, how much you try to talk/eat in the beginning, and things like that. Most of the tenderness will go away within 2 weeks though :)
