After birth is only "designed" to perform as long as the pregnancy. In canine birth, the afterbirth or placenta is usually delivered like a puppy ... the last puppy. If your dog does not deliver the placenta, it will need to be cleaned out somehow, possibly by your vet.
It varies with each animal. A female Labrador I had many years ago gave birth to 7 puppies. From the first signs of labour, the puppies were born at 20 minutes, 35 minutes, 1 hour 15 minutes, 1 hour 50 minutes, 3 hours 5 minutes, 6 hours, and 16 hours 15 minutes !
my dog had a puppy and hasn't had a second one yet so how long does it take for A SECOND PUPPY TO BE BORN
3-4 weeks
about 8 weeks
Yes but stay close in case she has another puppy and you can catch it and take it back inside.
If the labor goes on more than 24hrs call the vet if longer than that take her to the vet.Sometimes it can take awhile for her to have a puppy in between puppies just keep a close eye on her and make sure shes not having problems getting one out.

untill you sell the puppy
You should take your puppy out at least every hour, if it's a male puppy they need to go more often that a female puppy or so seems anyway.
It takes about three months:D
70 days
A couple of months.
You can take a puppy outside at any age just to go potty, but a puppy should have all of it's shots before it meets other dogs or spend long periods of time outside.
