The time is takes for a package to clear customs varies from one day to one month. The way a package is shipped has a lot to do with how long it will take to clear.
i also have a package that has been in customs since january 13,2012 and have tried to find out how long it takes. i have even tried calling customs but cannot get a person just recordings.
It takes around 2 days, maybe more depending on weather or not the package gets a tax declaration
Anywhere from 24 hours to 4 weeks.
Hi! atleast 2 weeks. You can have it sent express but it will cost you.It has to go through US Customs. Casey Mahoney Brad P
2-4 days on average. If there are no customs delays.
From where and what type of package? From Canada to La Paz of documents of no commercial value, over night to 5 days depending on customs delays etc.
Yes! As long as you have a permit!
Tonight, specifically...forever. :o)
About 2.5 weeks depending on size, weight and method of postal. Australian customs are also extremely strict on products coming in from international countries. They are all checked by Australian customs by x-ray, sniffer dogs and dissembling the package by hand. China is particularly what the Australian government refer to as a "high risk country". Meaning there are large risks of illegal objects being mailed in or objects which pose a quarantine risk to Australia's unique ecosystem, for example, seeds are not allowed and meat is not allowed (Asia has some extremely devastating crop diseases and bird flu that can be passed onto Australian wildlife). Therefore anything you import from China will undoubtedly be examined thoroughly by customs, which can delay the delivery further.
The average time is about three weeks, but it can take up to six weeks if the package gets caught up in Customs or if you ship around the holidays. I ship to Australia, so this is firsthand.
Could be anything from a few days to months. It depends on a lot of factors. Shipping speed, how long it takes for the person to get it shipped, and customs. Customs can often make packages take a lot longer to get shipped than they should.
