That depends on the level of service you pay for.
The UPS website has maps (go to shipping/service guide) where you can put in a ZIP code to see how long it normally takes for a parcel sent from that ZIP code using their standard ground service to arrive at locations in the rest of the US. Using a Houston ZIP code (77002), it looks like it normally takes 3-5 days to get to New York, depending on what part of New York you're talking about.
FedEx has the same thing (ship>get rates and service times>ground service map), which looks like 77002->NY is 3-4 days for them.
If you meant New York City, both say it's 3 days. This probably assumes you're dropping the package off at their local office; if you're calling to have the package picked up at a residence, it's likely going to add an extra day.
A 50 g parcel from Texas to London, United Kingdom, will take between 2 and 4 working days with FedEx. The exact length of time will depend on the type of service chosen.
If you have the long tracking number, you can enter it into the FedEx website and you will be able to see the current status of your parcel.
2-8 days.
Probably two days: Houston-New York and New York-Otopeni.
