It depends how fast you go and what path you take. The moon isabout 380,000 km (236 121 miles) away.

The slowest on record was 1 year 1 month and 2 weeks by the ESA SMART-1 lunar probe.

The Apollo crews did it in 3 days, 3 hours, 49 minutes.

But the fastest ever was 8 hours, 35 minutes by NASA's New horizon mission on its way to Pluto.

That trip would take a very, very long time, since the Space Shuttle was never

designed to go to the moon, was never capable of making the trip, and is not

planned to ever be launched again.

It depends on how fast you travel.

It took Apollo 11 around 72 hours and 30 minutes to reach the moon, travelling at an average speed of around 3420 miles per hour or 5500 km/h (although it was going much faster when escaping earths gravity near the begining of the journey).

The journey could be done more quickly, but it would cost a lot more money.

That depends on the thrust of the rocket. It took the crew aboard Apollo 11 about 5 days to reach the surface of the Moon.

All of the spacecraft that have been sent to the moon so far, both manned and unmanned,

have taken about 3 days to get there, after they left earth orbits if they parked there first.
