When you put honey on a tree how long does it take for a Pokemon to come in Pokemon platinum?

It takes 8 to 12 hours after you put honey on a tree

(also after a Pokemon is on the tree it waits for up to 12 hours the you need to wait another 12 hour till another one comes ,you will know ones there when the tree shakes the more it shakes the rare the Pokemon ) hope that helped a bit more

Well it depends on what time you put honey on the tree & where it also depends on what kind of pokemon you want find a honey tree and put honey on it then write down the time & what town then come back the next day 2 find the tree shaking...glad 2 answer...veronica

To get Pokemon off of a honey tree really quickly

first you need to buy a lot of quickballs (a pokeball that has a higher catch rate at the start of a wild battle...the higher your Pokemon compared to the wild one in battle (e.g. yours lvl50 wild pokemons lvl35) the higher chance there is of catching a wild Pokemon with the quick ball)

then after you slathered the bark of the honey tree with honey (of course!)

wait for a Pokemon (the tree will shake if theres one in it!) then catch it with a quickball!
