Typically 2 minutes (within the garden) however this can be sped up by snuggling the egg. To snuggle it grab it with B and hold down B and tilt the control stick left or right.
Press A on the egg to make it hatch faster!
This depends. 1. Dreamcast Version About 1 hour. 2. Gamecube Version 2-3 hours.
"Like most things, Chao can die... A Chao's life usually lasts about 7 - 8 hours on the Dreamcast. On the Gamecube the Chao has an age. When the Chao reaches 5 years old* it will reach the end of its life, and it will cocoon and die after that. But, if your Chao liked you, it will reincarnate and leave an Egg. If it didn't, then sadly your Chao will not reincarnate and will be gone forever. *A Chao Year on the Gamecube lasts around three real life hours. If you care for your Chao extra well, it's years will take longer. Likewise if your Chao is unhappy and get hit alot, it will take shorter to age and in turn, die quicker. Also note, that some studies show that when a Chao breeds with another Chao, its lifespan decreases. The age of your Chao is shown in the Medical Chart with the Chao Doctor (in the Kindergarten)" - Chao Island
3 to 4 hours
You can obtain a Gold Chao in Sonic Advance 1 and 2 by finding it in The Tiny Chao Garden, in the shop. There is a chance that there will be a Gold Chao. You can get other Jewel Chao, too. You can also transfer the Chao to Sonic Adventure 2: Battle by using the GBA link cable to the Gamecube or Wii. And also you can get one in Sonic Adventure DX but I'm not sure how...I don't own the game sorry. D: But I hope that helps!
Wait patiently in the chao garden for a very long time make sure you take care of your chao of course after a long time take it to the doctor to check its age it should of gone up if not wait more.
In the Nintendo Gamecube, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the Sonic Adventure games, it will take about two hours of playtime, in the garden, without pausing. It takes twice as long in the Sega Dreamcast versions.
Requirements: Gamecube Or Wii Gameboy Advance Phantasy Star Online for the gamecube Gamecube adapter link. Operation: Get phantasy star online and put it in the wii or gamecube. On one of the mission there will be a chao to rescue. after you help him he will give you 3 minigames, one of them being the tiny chao garden, which is why you need a gameboy advance AND sonic advance 2. Next, download the tiny chao garden in phantasy star online at the gameboy advance statue. after it downloads hook up the gameboy advance and gamecube (OR Wii) with the adapter link. start up sonic advance 2 and go to the tiny chao garden. when you load it up in with phantasy star still playing while at the gameboy advance statue, it will say "YOU HAVE GOTTEN THE RARE TAILS CHAO!!!" now put in sonic adventure 2 battle and go to the chao garden. once again, hook up the gamecube and gameboy advance with the adapter. now go to the gameboy advance in the garden and go to the pick up tab. in whichever controller slot the adapter is in it will show a tails chao. pick that slot and it will come out of the gameboy advance statue. Now you have a tails chao! I'm not sure if they die or not. but if they reincarnate they will stay looking like tails no matter what! Use an action replay.
It takes 5 hours to hatch.
A chao evolves in 2 ways. To get a dark chao it will evolve when you have made it have a dark wing. To get a hero chao then it will evolve when you have made two balls on his head connect.
it takes a little while for chao to get older but you have to care for it and after a while(depending on which character you use hero or evil)then the chao will go to the stage of chao death.
it will take 999999999999 steps to hatch a egg
