if it was just hatched then probably 2 or 3 months. after that it will shed about 1 time a month. You may not know it sheded the night before because a lot of leo's will eat their shedding. Mine does :)
Yes, they do. Lizards and snakes both shed their skin when they've outgrown it. They start the process by rubbing on rocks or tree bark or something rough. This helps them break the dead skin and push it away, leaving fresh new skin beneath.
A growing leopard gecko will shed it skin every 30 days. A full grown leopard gecko will shed every 30-60 days. It is best to provide your animal with a humid hide to ensure that the gecko can seek a damper area if necessary.
Yes. Leopard Gekos routinely eat their shed. It seems gross to us, but it's a good source of protein and calcium for them.
It varies on the gecko. Depending on what kind of gecko it is, it's health, size and age. They should shed on a regular basis if they are healthy. My leopard gecko will shed every 4-6 weeks.
Once a month when young and when older every other month.
It depands on the leopard gecko usally 1 or 2 weeks
you be awesome
explain how you would take care of the leopard gecko and that you would take good care of it and you would buy it with you money do NOT keep nagging them about then they will not be as likely to get you one rather gentley remind them every week or so i know this seems like a long time but it's worth it when you have your leopard gecko.
I just got a baby leopard gecko 4 days ago and here is what I have been doing: When she trys to climb, i put my hand as an option to climb on and she climbs right on!
Take it to the vet.
If you are able to get your leopard gecko to take interest into fruit, it is not detrimental to their health. In most cases a Leopard gecko will not take interest into fruits as they are not live, moving prey.
It can take 60-120 days for leopard gecko eggs to hatch depending on what conditions they are incubated in. The warmer the temperatures, the sooner the eggs should hatch.
take him to a docter
yes if you want eggs and baby lizards to take care of, which is extremely difficult.
Either feed him, take him out and play with him, or ask him some questions about insurance.
No it will not harm the animal, some keepers will take their leopard geckos outside and have a photo shoot in the grass to create a natural looking photograph.
No. People feed leopard geckos "pinkies" for various reasons. To boost nutrition during a geckos pregnancy. To give a gecko a large feeding so as to not have to feed it for a week (this works well if you want to take a vacation). Some people just think it's entertaining. A Leopard Gecko does not "need" to eat baby mice. Crickets will do.
