It's different in every woman. Your period may last the normal amount of days or it may finish earlier. However you cannot have unprotected sex until you've been on the pill for 4 weeks.
It varies from woman to woman; but the cycle is normally 27 - 32 days long. The period itself is normally 2 - 4 days.

Between 4-10 days. It's different for every woman.
i am 68 and appear to be having a period
You could be. The only way to know is to have a pregnancy test. It's not clear by your question how long it had been since you had unprotected sex and your period. But regardless, women have been known to be pregnant and have what looked like a period; but usually instead the bleeding would usually be scant to light and a shorter period of time, like just a day or two, but some women have been known to have what looked like a full period.
It can be longer then it was before but it usually goes back to normal after a few months. How long differs from woman to woman.
I looked it up on wikipedia, and they gave me this long definition. I'm going to put it in simple terms. Ovulation is when a woman is on her period, has sex, and gets pregnant.
You don't. So if it's for a long time you need to see a doctor or if you've had unprotected sex take a pregnancy test.
As long as a woman has her period, if she is fertile, she can be impregnated.
after she haven't had a period yet
You should never have unprotected sex. I am also unsure as to what you mean in saying "how long". Exactly what is it that you are waiting on?
