How long does it take for a wooly bear caterpillar to wake up from hibernation We kept a wooly caterpillar in the fridge over the winter. Now that it's Spring we've taken him out but he hasn't wakened?

I don't know how long it takes for a wooly bear caterpillar to wake up from hibernation, but I do know that they don't live in fridges, they live outside!
By Keeping the caterpillar in the fridge that will result into death of the caterpillar because of the gas component ot the Fridge

There is no air or daylight or warming spells in a refrigerator. Your little guy is probably dead.
Make a small box out of screen material, about 12" x 12". Leave one side open, this side will go down on the grass outside. The screen will keep your friend from getting out. Make sure there is plenty of grass, lots of different leaves and a couple of sticks inside for him. Stand the stick up so he can climb to the top if he wants to. They love clover, so plant some inside the area. Make sure you pick a place where he can get rain, get out of the sun when he wants to, and get into sun when he wants to. Don't bring him indoors. Let him hibernate. In the spring, he will eat and build the cocoon. Then you will see him become a moth or butterfly depending on what Caterpillar you have. After you see it is out of the cocoon, please let it go so it can live it's life with it's friends out in the gardens.
