About 8 days but u never know...I have 8 females that grew so....:)
They have to grow up and be adult before they can breed
It varies depending on the type of fish. For many, female fish lay eggs. The eggs are fertilized by the male fish outside the body of the female after they are laid. The eggs grow into baby fish.
A Betta Fish or Siamese Fighting Fish are only a few inches. The females grow to about 2.5" and males grow to 3".
As they grow larger and older you will notice that some of the youngsters start to develop longer finnage and brighter colours these fish are often slightly larger than the others too. They are the more advanced males and they need to be removed before they start fighting with one another.
The female organ that a developing baby grows in is the uterus.

they are born with them if they don't have them then they are going to die :(
If the fish is a baby and it grows then the scales expand and grow to match the fish's body.
Minnow fish reproduce through external fertilization, where the female releases eggs and the male releases sperm into the water simultaneously. The eggs are then fertilized and develop externally before hatching into larvae.
