it takes around 90 minutes i believe.
There is no need to mix old and new compost. Old compost ,if ready, should be used on its own. New material will take time to rot down to compost.
it will take about 8 weeks to rot
Around 3 months. There are certain things you can do to speed up this process. There are certain factors that will naturally increase or decrease the speed also. Such as cold weather making it take longer for them to rot. Hot weather making them rot faster. Worms and dampness combined with warmth making it much faster. Never add sticks or branches to compost as they do not rot and make it impossible to shift your compost once the leaves and grass have decomposed. Obviously wood does rot over time but it takes much much much longer... Info thanks to Joseph M. James
Fungi and Bacteria causes compost to rot because they are microbes...
you can in a compost heap. let it rot.
Heat and bacteria break down the material
It does rot as per me. I have never seen a plastic gets rot
How long something takes to compost depends on the conditions of the compost pile. A hot turn compost pile can compost popcorn in about 20 days. A slower working compost will take about three months to compost them.
NEVER
