Of course it sounds silly but the answer remains that first class mail is delivered in three to five days. Your mail to the person across the street may be sent to a sorting center back to the same post office and back to the same postman to deliver across the street. The process is based on the efficiency and rapid processing to a variety of destinations. Next time just yell at your neighbor.
I have had it take as long as three weeks in a large city, but often it is delivered the next day. The best results seem to be if you mail from a U.S. Post Office.

Probably one or two days. Mail is delivered on Saturdays in the US.
It would be delivered the next day. USPS says within 200 miles you get next day delivery (as long as it is to PO before last pick up).
Have no idea

yes
Anywhere from 1-2 days depending. Priority mail is always faster. But cities in the same state tend to have faster rate of exchange.
Usually 2 to 3 days.
Usually the same day if mailed by morning before the mail trucks leave, if not it gets mailed the next business day.
You're confusing us. Your questions are the same. You didn't bother to mention the difference between "first class" as opposed to "bulk mail", etc. I agree with your previous response: about 4 days. jimdand
