Unfortunately the Piper Alpha no longer exists due to the disaster that destroyed it. It was located offshore from Aberdeen, Scotland. Aberdeen is the base from where helicopters transport workers between land and the platforms. A helicopter flight between Aberdeen and the offshore oilfield there is around 1 hour. There are no flights from this oilfield to London.
It should take about the same as a airplane
Commercial would be around 1 hour 20. Private could be 1 hour 5. NUFC :-)
The typical flight time for a police helicopter to go from Washington D.C. to New York City is about 90 minutes. It may take less time if there is an emergency.
No. The submarine came about long before the helicopter.
I doubt that any helicopter can fly from Antarctica to Australia.
A helicopter should be a be able to hover as long as it has fuel to. And the current atmospheric conditions and pilot fatigue levels permit.
47 feet
What would you call "average". I don't see there is an "average" helicopter, all are different.
You play during the alpha phase, which has long passed.
It hovers as long as the fuel tank lasts.
till it runs out of gas
About 2' long
