It depends how many microbes are in the milk to begin with and what temperature it has been previously stored at (4 degrees C is best). Once you take it out of the fridge, enzymes such as lipase (involved in fat-breakdown) and protease (protein- breakdown) are active, and bacteria whose optimum temperature is room temperature will begin to multiply. These processees lead to bad smells if left long enough. It is best to keep the milk next to a cold pack in an insulated bag if you are considering storing it un-refrigerated for a period of time.
It does if you keep it long enough!
Of course, milk can only spoil OUT of the fridge, or when the milk has expired
no, homogenized milk does not have the fat removed.
Homogenized milk is still a mixture. The milk still contains water, fat and other minerals such as calcium. Homogenized milk only looks instead of settling at the bottom of a glass.
Not very long at all; out of the fridge, cooler, etc. As it begins to get warm in temperature it spoils and can make you sick if you consume it...
By sucking the soul out of the milk.
If you put milk anywhere other than a refrigerated appliance for 10 days, it will spoil.
Homogenised milk is a homogeneous colloidal dispersion of the milk solids in the liquid milk. The colloidal particles are sized as per the requirements in high-speed colloidal mills. It is not a heterogeneous mixture.
Emulsion
In America, milk is homogenized to prevent separation of the cream.Homogenized milk is milk where the fat particles have been broken apart into very small particles by high sheer.
Compound, because it has water as well as homogenized milk.
