To clean a pumpkin you can wash it with a damp towel. Then you can take a carving knife. Carve out the pumpkin with a design of your liking. Make sure to take out the seeds. You can draw a design on the pumpkin first and use that as an outline when you carve the pumpkin.
Yes you do. It's a messy but fun process!
Carving pumpkins can be a lot of fun if you know how to do it. 1. First take a knife and cut around the stem so that you can take it off as if the pumpkin had a hat! (keep it because you'll need to put the top back on when your done ) 2. Take some kind of spoon and clean out all the insides. In the inside scrape the pumpkin until its clean (keep the seeds you can salt them then bake them to eat) 3. Next you can take a knife and carve the pumpkin any way you want .

You should buy a good sized healthy pumpkin, a small sharp knife, some sort of layout of how you want the pumpkin to be cut, and finally and small candle. You should hollow out the pumpkin and then carve the front of it however you want. Then take the candle and put it inside the pumpkin. Make sure the pumpkin lid does not touch the flame though.

First you draw a rough draft on the pumpkin (a regular marker not a permanent). Then take out all the insides. Next have an adult carve out your face and the cut a round hole around the stem. Finally have an adult put a candle inside, put the lid on and let it shine.
Really, pumpkins don't need there skin taken off. To carve one though, you need a really big, sharp knife, not one of those plastic carvers stores sell around Halloween. trying to take the skin off a pumpkin might be really tough, not might, it is, unless its not fully grown.
