Bachelor's degree (4 years), Master's degree (2 years), Doctoral degree (2 years), pre-doctoral internship (1-2 years), post-doctoral rotation (1-2 years) & the passing of the national and state licensure exams. Psycology, Pretty Good thing to take -nods-
Typically, a clinical psychologist has obtained a doctorate, and is licensed. It would take four years for the bachelor's degree, and an additional four years to obtain the doctorate with the appropriate specialization.
Anyone who studies psychology is a psychologist. You can be one of those when you are 10 years old. You want to be a psychiatrist. For that you have to go to about 4-6 years of school after you get your bachelors degree.
