Stratford Career Institute is not an accredited learning institution, therefore the "diploma" you receive is not likely to be recognized or honored by an employer or college/university. There have also been numerous complaints about fraud, theft, false charges on credit cards, and failure to give refunds when they were supposed to.

The Stratford Career Institute is legit as long as you realize that this is not a university or college. This is a learning aid to prepare you to enter into an accredited course. You will get a diploma but it is only a piece of paper. None of your "classes" will be recognized. Any of the courses I have seen seem to be developed very well and will give you an idea what the degree course will consist of and if you wish to go for the degree. As a prep course they are very useful. Also note that they are an end in themselves if you are looking to improve your own personal life. eg, taking an accounting course so you can do your own books. (I am not affiliated with any college, I have completed 4 distance learning courses)
