"Best Answer - Chosen by Voters While most of the Twinkie will eject itself within a day, some of it will remain behind clinging to the walls of your digestive system.

Using the standard formula of (X=.333/2y-(Z+1/x)+(√Y/x∧3)we can easily conclude that it takes exactly two weeks per gram of natural fiber consumed by the average adult to push one microgram of the Twinkie remnants through the digestive system. This assumes the average American diet that is rich in complex carbohydrates, saturated fats, and meat, and low in fruits and vegetables. we can assume that for the typical person, an average digestive sweep of the Twinkie will take approximately 3.17 years.

To beat the average, I suggest Grape Nuts wetted down with Milk of Metamucil. Nature's little broomcloset."

One Twinkie won't stay in your system. If you eat a couple boxes at a sitting, you'll have to run quite a ways farther to burn them off.
