∙ 15y agoOften people say it take 7-10 years to digest gum that you swallow, but some people believe that is just a rumour. Gum CAN kill you if you swallow it, it could get stuck in your throat, or somewhere in your digestive system and cause everything to block up and you to die, but as long as it doesn't get stuck somewhere along the way, I think it can digest, but I'm not sure how long it takes.
